I would recommend seeing Dr Chao at Pediatric Specialists of Virginia and NP Jessica Stafford (they work together). We were dealing with constipation for years and it was only after seeing Dr Chao and Jessica were we finally able to resolve it. Both are aggressive in dealing with constipation and treat it as the serious problem it is. But because they were aggressive, we finally were able to get rid of my daughter’s constipation issues.
+1 to the bolded part. Why on earth are you asking the internet this and not your doctor.
NP a lot of us have peds who just shrug this off and say give it time.

Depends on your insurance but my ped blew me off on a couple things- he ended up having reflux damage, laryngomalacia, and CMPA. Go see a GI. Constipation is the demise of the colon.
