I think they started letting women in recently.
It's co-ed. But only 30 students total. They take a about 13 new students a year.
It went coed in 2018. Very progressive of them.

My goodness, does your kid have any say in this? It's an experience some kids would love but many would not. Maybe his dream will be your dream, but more likely not.

I have one. He’s 7. When I was college age, Deep Springs didn’t allow women. But it was obviously a far superior experience to standard residential 4-year college fare—even then!

Fine but it's still not for everyone and it's absurd for it to be the only residential college that a parent will consider.
