You pure probably just used to it-I bet grandma, etc can smell your baby’s sweet head.

Mine both puked up after every feed, so they smelled like spit up....

I don’t think it has to do with bottle or breastfeeding. My oldest was bottle fed and she smelled like “newborn”. My twins are both exclusively breastfed and one smells like newborn, the other smells like *nothing*. Doesnt even hold the soap smell after a bath. Idk why.

My adopted newborn infant that was exclusively formula fed smelled amazing. And even as an almost 3 year old she smells weirdly good- just her natural oils, we use all unscented products. Even other family members have commented on it. It probably just depends on the kid. Like some adults naturally smell better or smellier.

I also wondered about this! My babies never smelled of anything to me! Both exclusively breastfed. Sometimes they smelled of sour milk if they had spit up and hadn’t been washed. Not my favorite smell!

I don’t have any problems with my olfactory senses otherwise. And this never stopped me bonding with my babies. I love them to the ends of the earth snd back

My babies smelled sweet on…GASP, formula!

Mine smelled sweet and milky to me, I assumed it was the breastmilk. But I love the neck cheese too, you should still get the formula feeding!
