You can have the job! I only agreed to do it because the Coach asked and everyone else said no.

Donuts after a game or after a practice often removes team anger.

They isolated themselves and sat on the other side of the field, as in the player side. To make it even worst they sat next to the opposing team. It was the beginning of the second half and we were down 0-3. Out of no where we hear the coach from the other team screamed ‘ref I need you to get them off the field’ ( I can’t remember exactly what he said). Then another coach walked towards the family and said ‘ I heard what you said’.
Ref did go up to the family and they eventually left the field and we resumed the game. I am embarrassed of what happened. It is a poor representation of our team and the league.
If anyone from that team is reading this, I would like to apologize for her behavior. Please know not all the parents are like that.
So no one should be on the player bench side of the field except for refs, players, coaches. Everyone else should be on the opposite side of the field. Even sitting on the goal ends is not allowed.
The team manager should be with the parents during games. He/she should be there for and questions parents may have. They are an extension of their club almost an ambassador. If opposing team families have questions about the club as well.
Our club does not have parent team managers. The club handles everything. Parents have zero involvement.
I loved that about Barca. Also- no parent volunteers for anything. Just show up and drop your kid off. It was worth the extra $$![]()
