VBOE made these changes, not Duran
You must not have done very well on the reading SOL. It clearly says Duran is leading the race to the bottom - for the entire state.
"Dr. Durán introduced an amendment to adopt a cut score lower than recommended by the State Superintendent, and the State Board adopted that lower threshold."
Durán is giving up on the students and families who need him the most. At least the gym teacher wanted better.
