This should be a common sense factor in her work caring for children.
Clean up any messes that were made during her stay.
Dishes, toys, etc.
I ALWAYS make sure the house is picked up prior to the parents returning home.
What parent wants to walk into chaos after a long day of work??
Your Nanny needs to pick up the house plus wash any dishes prior to picking up your oldest child.
It shouldn’t be that hard.
If she absolutely refuses - then decide if this is something you can let fly.

"Nanny, we talked about cleaning up the playroom before you leave, and I realize it's totally unfair to you to ask you to stay late to do this since you get back from pickup at 5pm. So can you please clean it up before you leave? Its OK if Larla watches Paw Patrol while you finish that job."
If it doesn't improve: "Nanny, the playroom still isn't clean. Is there a problem? How can we fix this?"
If it still doesn't improve: find a new nanny.

Agree with everyone that she needs to tidy up and it's fine to bring that up. Suggest toy A gets put away before toy B comes out. That will make cleanup easier. Also work with your school age kid about dumping out leftover food before they go out for recess so they're coming home w/ an empty lunch box. Then, your older kid needs to learn to empty backpack, take lunch box to kitchen, and do homework etc etc. Some of this can be a teaching moment for the older child too.

Does your nanny lack common sense or is she just trying to get out of a task? The obvious solution is to clean before leaving for pickup.

I’m a sahm so I don’t have a nanny but I imagine it’s one of her duties to help develop the kids’ skills. I much prefer to hangout with my kids at the playground but it’s also important that I’m teaching them to clean up after themselves and pick up their toys. This is not necessarily a fun process (toddlers are slow cleaners!) but it’s important that they learn. Tell her you need her help enforcing what the kids are learning from you regarding cleaning up after themselves. She will have to help and guide but that’s part of being a caregiver to young kids.
