My mom used to do this, about a Tablespoon at a time. She’d put the slices on saltines, though. Something to consider if you are looking for a fig leaf.

Ketchup on most things - melted cheese tortilla, scrambled eggs, bread, noodles, rice, etc.

I also like to drag dry cereal (cheerios, fruit loops, Life cereal) through the cream cheese tub (or butter whichever I have more of).
