OP here. We don’t like Emily or the other name PP suggested. We have settled on the name. I like Amelia because it is what I’m used to when I think of the name and spelling, but husband likes Emilia. His grandmother was named Mildred and everyone called her Millie. This is why we will call her that. I like the nickname Emmy. I’m sure kids are called different names by different people.
