Based on how often the bomber is manipulating their glasses, I think that they probably don't wear glasses in real life. Anyone who wears glasses has figured out how to prevent them from getting fogged up by January 2021.

Disagree about the fogging glasses. I still have trouble.

But, I have always thought it was a woman because of the size and walk.

I find it so hard to understand why, with all the security/traffic/ring doorbell cameras and other big brother tracking capabilities available these days, that this person hasn't been found yet.

It's time we stopped thinking that behavior is gendered like this. I have seen both men and women walk and hold bags like this. I understand that to initially narrow down a search, you can try restricting certain parameters, but for a computerized search, which presumably has a powerful algorithm behind it, I hope they can then branch out to include both genders.

I might suggest that men would have difficulty placing a bomb next to their genitals. He wasn't planning to be a suicide bomber.

I think it's clearly a woman. The hesitancy of the culprit makes me think it's a woman; men involved in terrorist actions are more direct. There's multiple points in the video where she's hesitating, thinking about the course of action, etc. The way she struggles with the weight of the backpack also seems to be a woman. Why not carry it on your back? The baggy clothing seem to be trying to hide the curvature of a woman's body.

The fact that this person uses a cell phone in the video should hopefully be enough to trace them. Which phones were bouncing off nearby towers at these exact moments? The internet-of-things may have also picked up bluetooth signal. I bet the FBI has narrowed down this person and now they are just waiting to see if they make mistakes and implicate others.

The FBI video of their route is so fascinating. They are clearly unfamiliar with the area around the DNC, but very familiar with the area near the RNC and Capitol Hill Club.

I think the doctor's Twitter analysis is a bit stretched, but he add some important observations about the bomber's gender, familiarity with the RNC premises, and some of the bomber's defense mechanisms.
