The car shortage and high prices/demand have been covered in many new outlets. Not surprised they don't want to deal with what they call "tire kickers" when they have people coming in. Chip shortage is main reason to blame.

My sister flew out to visit our parents & get a car at MSRP, then drove back (a two-day trip) rather than pay 10K over, which was what dealers were doing where she lives.

I have a coworker driving to Florida for a trade in and to pick up a new SUV. He's paying MSRP but saving about 10k over the best offer he could get in this area
