Eh, or you can just choose a gender at random. I shop boy and girl clothes equally because I think gendered clothes for babies are silly (and I’m not buying a second set of infant stuff for the different gendered younger sibs). If someone says “oh what a cute little boy!” about my DD, I’d just say “thanks!” I guess the gendered clothing is helpful if you would vexed if someone misgendered your kid.
