I would laugh but I think it’s true. I just do not see the NWSL continuing. There is just no way it continues because under the CBA. NWSL just do not pay enough for various reason and the US is losing players. I mean $22-52k a year in DC or Seattle? I think you would have problems eating on that.

This is why the US was forced to take the over the hill player to the Olympics. There is nothing behind them…no bench, no development …nothing. The Europeans have moved to a full time professional model and the US will be using part time college players. Remember when the US would take college basketball players to the Olympics. Yeah we had to stop that…didn’t we?

USMNT used the young players and second stringers for the Gold Cup. Surprising USWNT didn't do the same here.
