Indeed - and thanks for clarifying for everybody. People should not put the blame on kids who were unable to take the SAT not even organized in October and cancelled in January. People should not blame kids either about whether their schools communicated about AE or not. Kids aware who thought they would qualify used it as allowed by the NM corporation. Yes, unfair but that's life. PSAT is tough for sure - but an index of 224 with AE also shows quite an achievement. Another MCPS Mom
My high scoring SAT kid missed the deadline for submitting — it was a tumultuous time in our family and the school was not good about telling the kids to do it. It’s a shame because they would have had at least one more NMSF on their list if they had.
