Type 1 asks a question, and then says "I'll wait." For example "Who can walk out of the house without makeup no problem... I'll wait" or "Who can say they've had a friend for at least 20 years...I'll wait."
They never have a question mark at the end of the question, which is irritating...and the "I'll wait." is just so...smug? Self rightous? I don't even know what word to use...but it bother's me.
Type 2 asks a question that makes it sound like it will be really hard to answer, but really it's very easy to answer. For example, I saw one today that said "I bet no one can tell me a woman's name that starts with T and ends with A"--and of course there are tons: Tara, Tabitha, Tamara, etc. Or "I bet you can't name a state that does not have the letter A in it"--and again, easy! Ohio, Oregon, New Mexico, etc.
What is the point of this?

This. Dumb and annoying and I don't understand why so many of my "friends" bother to answer (they're often my parents friends, or older coworkers).
Anonymous wrote:Both of these posts (annoying language aside) can be phishing for passwords and other secure information. For example, the friend one can lead many people to tag the person they've been friends with for 20+ years, which may well be the answer to a password question ("your best friend's name")
