My husband is 6’4’’. I’ve dreamed about a fancy, pretty bed with a matching headboard and footboard. I would LOVE a cozy sleigh bed. Nope. His legs are too long and his feet hang off the bed.

For me, the only drawback in having tall sons is having to buy new beds and mattresses when they got too long for a regular length twin.
I think 6'2" is perfect. Tall, but not TOO tall. And I agree that over 6'5" or so, it may become a disadvantage physically for the man himself.
I agree 6'2- 6'3 is the sweet spot for me.

God I love tall men! 6’5” would be amazing. My dh is 6’1”. A short man would really have to have had to had an amazing personality for me to date. I’m 5’7”.

My spouse is 6’5”. He was an officer on a submarine and his bed was 1 inch shorter than he was. So that sucked. We also crossed many Arlington houses off of our list because the basements had places all over where he had to hunch to walk around. Otherwise, normal life.

There are downsides to being an outlier. Hard to shop for clothes. Big & Tall stores have ugly stuff. Shoes are limited styles and very $$$. Airplane seats are ultra-cramped. Only some cars have enough headroom, which isn't a huge issue for buying cars (though you can never have a sunroof) but it makes car rentals a game of roulette (no relationship between headroom and size of car). Easy to hit your head on doorways and chandeliers.
On the bright side, there's always something to talk about with strangers!

I'm not the PP, but I know plenty of women who are short who won't take a super tall man. I think the best correlation to 6'4" is about 5'6" or taller for the woman.
