My son happens to be very good looking and hates being hit on by so many girls... his height is definitely an advantage in that regard, although there are drawbacks too. He doesn't have big feet, so that's not an issue, and the hardest thing for him is finding shirts with arms that aren't short on him. He doesn't have a problem with pants, weirdly enough, because he has a very long torso if that makes sense.
For me, the only drawback in having tall sons is having to buy new beds and mattresses when they got too long for a regular length twin.
I think 6'2" is perfect. Tall, but not TOO tall. And I agree that over 6'5" or so, it may become a disadvantage physically for the man himself.

What height is too tall? Can I ask how tall you are? Just curious as I don't hear this often.

Are they married?

He has stretch marks like look like he was whipped across his back, he hunches because it’s a little awkward being a really tall boy, he can’t find pants that fit (tall sizes don’t come in small sized waists) and he can no longer buy shoes in stores, which means he can’t try them on first. All that said the advantages for sports means he wouldn’t trade his height, so he certainly doesn’t complain. Aside from the stretch marks - they are really ugly and alarming looking and he’s sad he’ll have them for life.
They fade in time to a silvery color. There are extremely common, even in kids of average height.
