OP here, this is not an attack on McLean but the Class of 2021 was signed, sealed and delivered by May 2020. That team was part of a team in 2019-20 that included two 2020 grads who were starters on teams that went to the 2021 NCAA Final. I actually watched an ACC game where one of the 2021 grads from that team started. I guess my point is whether or not McLean is losing its shine or if 2022s are just committing later. The reality is that the current u18/19 team is not on the same level as u18/19 teams in previous years.

Who knows? I may be a youth soccer obsessive but many can't be bothered. Eventually, they will all go off and play where they play. Good luck to all the 2022s!

The club you are so worried about has one of the best teams in this age group and one of the best track records of college placement. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it if I were you.

Does it? I think that is the problem. The question is what happended?

Many May have not reported commitments.

FCV advertises heavily as it helps retain players, not having ECNL only hurts when the college coaches stop recruiting GA players

According to soccerwire, the commits reported are: FCV -12, Richmond -8, Arlington -6, BRYC -5, Bethesda -4, MUFC -3, VDA -3, McLean -2, Metro -2, Loudoun -1.

FCV leads the way.

Richmond has 9 D1
VDA has 13 D1
Virgínia Union Have at least 5.

Other clubs may have more too, Not every family will update Soccer wire or TDS.

The ones that take the time and energy to self report are probably the same market that buys a subscription. it's all good but understand what you are reading.

Here’s your 2022 commits thus far

Also self reported. Missing about 10 from our 2022s. You need to get better information sources if you are really that interested in this topic.

Why track to what jobs they get? What's the point? Are you trying to say that a club produces more successful college graduates?

You have to do more work than just looking at soccerwire or tds if you want to identify the correct info. Sorry it not so easy for you. Start a new site with all the correct info if it is that important to you.
