lmaooo. How do we think Liman is going to react?

I bet he's never been called sexy before in a filing.

I find it funnier thinking of Hudson or Gottlieb firing off an indignant motion to strike. The humanity!

What he should do is sanction Hilton. Those filing are not appropriate.

I think if they were remarks against someone else, the judge might do something. But as long as the criticism is pointed specifically at the judge, I think it will roll off of him and he knows that he's expected to let it roll off of him.

That doesn't mean Liman will grant him any of the relief he asked if it's not warranted. Anyone who says Liman is biased here is bananas because Hilton has thrown the wildest insults at him and yet Liman still (within hours of receiving a filing complaining about unredacted residential addresses from Hilton) immediately sealed some pleadings containing residential addresses and also required Hudson to prove that she had sent Hilton unsealed pleadings needed to understand and respond to her filing. He took these actions pretty immediately, and they benefitted Hilton. So anyone who says Liman is biased isn't really looking.

That said, Hilton has used ChatGPT and filed two pleadings so far with hallucinated cases. So I don't think he's going to win on the *substance* of any of the pleadings against him.

TBH after some of the encounters they had (Baldoni crying in her dressing room about the wardrobe, Blake reading off her list of grievances at the all hands, Reynolds screaming at Baldoni) considering they had to work together *and film sex scenes* after those incidents I actually imagine it was fine because they'd been in more awkward situations and she had forewarning he'd be at the depo. I'm sure they were cold to each other and seething inside but I would think neither of them would fall apart. Maybe I am giving them too much credit, haha.

Yeah I dont think it was awkward. She knew they were all coming.

Not sure if troll...

As the social media people have been filing motions to quash the subpoena to the platforms, Lively has been withdrawing each one. Other creators like Popcorn Planet and Perez Hilton received direct subpoenas and those are still being argued. Candace Owens may still be at meet and confer since nothing is on the docket.

Lively and Wallace have been deposed.

Not a troll! Thanks. I saw the stuff about subpoenas on reddit but haven’t been able to keep up. And I didn’t understand the point of them? I guess lively was trying to prove it was coordinated? I don’t know. Very curious about the deposition. I would’ve thought this was headed for a settlement by lively but I guess she’s dug in.

I'm surprised by how much love they have for Leslie Sloane, I always assumed she was a menace. I guess though that's why she's been a publicist for so long though with such high-profile clients -- she probably has good relationships with journalists...or at least knows which journalists she should have good relationships with.

PP I should clarify that I didn't actually click the link when I responded, because I saw the full video on YouTube earlier. This TikTok clip looks like it's a shortened, so I don't know if they included the part about Leslie Sloane, if you were wondering what the hell I'm talking about lol.

Hah, no, just watched the clip and it doesn't mention Sloane. It's an anecdote where Lively is doing press for the "Age of Adeline" movie and it's been arranged that they can only ask pre-ordained questions from her rep and one of them is "What do you like about the 1930s?" So she asks the question and Blake is all "Ugh, did you even see the movie? It takes place over 3 decades..." and stomps off. Too funny. Now it makes me wonder if that time she was complaining "would you ask a man about the costumes?" if that wasn't actually a question from her own reps!

Possibly. She doesn’t interpret questions or human interactions like a normal person. She's on a hair trigger response to jump into being scandalized and offended. And then she strikes and gets HYPER aggressive. It's probably the biggest reason I've always doubted her narrative.

to play devil's advocate, how would someone like this be able to prove themselves since she's kind of put herself in a "boy who cried wolf" situation? fully pro-baldoni, i just think it's easy for blake supporters to say this is unfair since this means you wouldn't take anything she ever says seriously.

I think I would, and did, take her seriously when the NYT article came out. It was really only when both sides released their version of events and the dancing video came out when I really thought, "oooh boy. Okay, I think I see what's happening here." Some of the "harassment" she cites (the doctor in the birth scene was an acquaintance of the director, a video of a woman giving birth becomes "porn," "it (tanning lotion) smells good" vs "YOU smell good") leave a lot of room for interpretation and Blake has interpreted them in the absolute most harsh and uncharitable way. Which is what she does! Repeatedly, all the time in interviews. So, I would want to see something beyond her interpretation of these events, because the fuller context looked like a lot of accommodation and walking on eggshells around her. She didn't really bring receipts that go beyond her interpretations, which are frequently "off" generally.

Sorry, but if you read any kind of mainstream media and you think it is better than Perez, you don’t have high media literacy.

PP, did you mean more trashy? Perez fat shames, calls celebrity kids ugly, and is all around a mean human. People might be garbage but they follow some journalism ethics. Perez is a bully and rose to fame during the peak misogyny era (2000s).

Right, he’s more blatantly obvious about it, but are you saying that mainstream media is not misogynist? I’ve pointed it out before, but can I show you Barbara Walters berating several young women about their sexual promiscuity, there is a slate of so-called renowned and respected journalists who pushed Britney Spears do you answer questions about losing her virginity and her sex life when her age ended in teen.

Those people dress nicer and get paid bigger bucks from big media outlets, but they are all trash. Press has never tried to be anyone but what he is, actually think it’s way more damaging when we have again these so-called respected journalist, winning awards and completely treating women like total crap.

This is fair. I'm dying to hear about the depositions, texts, and emails from others who were witnesses to these incidents. A lot of Blake's amended complaint is her texting how rough it all is and saying the person she was texting agrees but often without quoting them, giving me the sense they were just metaphorically nodding along with her version.
