Don’t forget that President Vance would get to preside over the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, and all of the goodwill and positive feelings and national pride would transfer to him. An incumbant President hasn't won since Obama won in 2012. That was over a decade ago, nearly a decade and a half ago.
