One average high school lacrosse team playing an equally average team. Congrats for being so bold.

You must be fun at parties. Let the kids play; just because they aren't Chaminade or Landon doesn't mean they aren't kids playing lacrosse having fun.

Your response has literally nothing to do with the premise of the original comment- go back and do a better job of trying to draw a different nexus next time.

My point is that crapping on two teams for being average in the grand scale of high school lacrosse is just unnecessary and the only point of doing so is to boost their own fragile ego. To say I avoided the premise of the argument is just as childish as the original argument itself.

I agree with this guy. Do a better job of not being an absolute loser. If they are average teams, you’re the guy actively seeking out average teams to call them average. Look in the mirror man, what are you doing with your life that it’s come to this point?

I just like to laugh at you average parents yapping it up about your kids average lacrosse teams- but then again- that’s what average people do. Grab that participation trophy and hold it high.

Your character is "average" if not below and I'd take an all star team of public skool kids of all star daddy's money any day. Look at UVA currently- To many daddy issues with a lot of skill isn't it.

It’s ok lil buddy- just because public school lacrosse in NVA is weak doesn’t mean your kids are bad people. They just have been given a less shot at success in lacrosse because their parents were too cheap to invest in their future.

I spent 0 dollars for my kid to go to school unlike you paying thousands a year. And still, my kid definitely is going to a better school than you to play lacrosse. Who’s the real little buddy?

Than me? You’re right- I’m not headed to college to play lacrosse- but my kid sure is.

Wow. Maybe there’s something in the water feeding Nova this year, but the sheer number of arrogant a$$holes in this forum this year is astounding. Hoping the the thoughtful conversation returns once teams have a few more games under their belts.

Anyways… Madison beat Robinson in a low scoring game and is the best team right now. Simply because they have the best coach to ever exist. Solomon was 5 yards on the field the entire game setting picks for his players and wearing sunglasses at night. The Lax Lord once again finds a way to win.

Silly question, out of the top 10 teams what players do you think they are missing the most from the 2025 class?

No key players will be missing. Maybe deep bench kids

Playing The Heights at The Heights tomorrow 5PM. I hear it’s going to be a sh*t show, both teams missing tons of kids cause of spring break. Either way should be a fun game to watch… maybe

Battlefield can’t catch and throw and caused at least 5 turnover and YT profited off that. Great game from both teams but no doubt YT played their hearts out.

No doubt? YT is lucky the score wasn’t 8-1 end of first. So many bad takes. And then they gave up 2 in the final minutes and nearly gave up the third. Play that game 10 times and it’s a toss up.

I will say, this is 100% true.

Anonymous wrote:Anyone got a Robo/Mad write up?

Absolute coin flip of a game. Robinson came out hot and were up 3-1 early in the 2nd. Madison then scored 3 goals in ~3 minutes and went into half 4-3. 2nd half was 1-1 overall for Warhawk 5-4 victory. #5 Lynchburg commit was phenomenal tonight, even against Penn State commit. Robinson controlled the faceoffs but 11 LSM for Madison caused a lot of 50/50s at the X. #8 York commit for Robo looked really good as well. #14 was the best player on the field for Robinson- 3 goals and the offense ran through him. Goalie change for Madison at halftime from the Senior to the Landon transfer. Night and day difference, 2nd half goalie was lights out.

It’ll be a lot of fun to see these teams play later into the year and they will likely see each other again in June. It’s a clear three headed monster in 6A between Indy, Madison, Robo. Indy seems to be the team to beat right now but there is opportunity for that gap to close as Madison/Robinson have the two best coaches in the state. Both teams missing key players as well. We’re in for a fun one this year.

Thanks for the write-up, sounds like awesome game. One quick question - and forgive if dumb - but how does one transfer from Landon to public school? they already happened to live in Madison district?
Yes, not a parent of Madison, but for them to transfer they would have to be from district unless they have a parent working in Fcps.

Huh. So lights out goalie - good enough to have aspirations to play for top program like Landon - just happened to live in Madison district? Funny how that doesn't seem to happen for Falls Church or Annadale or other schools..

Why would a really good goalie want to play for Annandale or Falls Church LOL

Playing for a team that needs a good goalie would mean you're THE GUY and you're developing against the most shots and having to perform.

Going to Madison means you're playing behind a much higher caliber defense, so the game reps you're taking are less frequent etc.

The obvious answer is Madison is higher profile and gets you more of a chance with college. But if you're having to drop from Landon to Madison it means walk-on time in college if you want to try and play.

Well, if you are actually recruitable it likely means D3 like Roanoke and maybe CNU.

D1 colleges don’t really care about what public high school you play for. They look at what clubs you play for and the competition. (It’s a different story for private school kids.)

Whoever it is, they aren't listed on the LaxNumbers "recruit"page for Madison nor Landon.

He's a sophomore whose family has lived in Vienna forever, and they got tired of driving to and from Bethesda every day. It's not more complicated than that. I can assure you they're not worried about getting their kid into college.

I thought he played for Episcopal last year?

No dummy- NVA public lacrosse- the best FL public teams would dominate your best. NVA public school lacrosse is average skill level and mostly soft NVA kids from even softer liberal parents.
