Can't imagine blaming any president for the plane crashes that have occurred over the years, including this one.

Yet Trump is blaming past Presidents.

Yes, and he has saved us all from future crashes by announcing the immediate end to DEI hiring and promotion practices at FAA.

First, there is the assumption that the tragedy was not caused by the army helicopter - which immediately suggests that it was, that the helicopter was there for some reason directly related to the new administration, and which they are conveniently distracting from by putting the focus on FAA.

Second, this assumes the controllers involved were DEI hires, and therefore minorities. They were clearly male, and I'd lay odds they were all white.

The Black Hawk vectored into an airplane on approach like a guided missile. He's an idiot to go to his DEI playbook on this. That's not what the evidence is going to show.

The gaslighting is infuriating.

Will any competent person with a somewhat functioning brain believe it when you know, Trump is now in charge? Can’t gloss over these deaths and the awful tragedy it is.

Absolutely not. The families will never stand for it. No one that has a family member on that plan is going to rest until it becomes clear exactly why they no longer have their family member. No amount of gaslighting by Trump is going to be able to change that.

Hmmm . . .

Day One - Lose an 80 million dollar F-35.
Day Two - Crash a helicopter into a civilian commercial aircraft that is on its' cleared landing approach.

Confidence inspiring. Best military ever since we no longer have pictures of Milley!

You clearly do not watch the news on any channel. This has been asked and answered many times. AND, FYI, Hedgseth has addressed it.

1. It has been common practice.
2. This was a training mission. This does not mean these were inexperienced pilots. They had night vision goggles but it is still uncertain whether they were in use. It was a yearly requirement.

I agree that it is troubling, but it is not uncommon to see these helicopters there. These types of helicopters are used to transport VIPS as well as the military mission.

Those pilots were told multiple times by Air Traffic Control to move. We should have more information from the DOD at that time. Functionally, a DOD aircraft, within a mile of the Secretary of Defense was used as a bomb to kill 65 Americans. Can you maybe intuit why we think he should give a d!mn?

Not sure the bolded is accurate. I've only heard it played once--right at impact. I'd be interested to hear more. Your accusation is premature.

Wouldn't it be nice if we had a functional government to clarify or inform us about it?

Of course they say it was a training mission, could it have been involved in some of the deportations going on? We will never know.

They didn't seem to have any passengers. So, it was a failed mission.

They could have completed their mission and returning to base.
