Related note, did anyone ever hear back on Super Y for wither MYS or Brave? Is that not going on or did they only contact the players for whom they wanted to offer spots?

I have not and daughter was on the team last summer.

Thanks, are you a Brave parent? Another poster said MYS offers went out before. We are Brave for the record.

Mclean Super Y. Both of her coaches last year have moved on so I figured that was the delay.

The fact that every parent in America only cares about elite soccer because it's just a pathway to collegiate soccer. Yep.

This x1000. Any sense that this should be "fun" or provide a growth experience is thrown out the window at even the youngest ages. The parents are angling for college from the get-go, and the clubs milk this for all it's worth, treating the players as commodities to be traded, exported, imported. The result is a corrupt, soulless system that feeds trolls and a-holes.

Clubs say, 'These uneducated consumers are our best customers'

Didn't it used to be 2 clubs, 1 union. Wonder if next year will be 5 clubs, 1 union.

BRAVE develops players and teaches soccer fundamentals. Huge difference, not evident for the soccer ignorant.

If there were actual development, they would win more often. From the younger groups at BRYC to the older BRAVE teams, my kids have never lost a game to that club. I have never seen a more consistently losing club. And i don't say that to be mean but at what point does all this development of fundamentals you speak of show up on the field? And we are talking blowouts. Every. Time.

Win every time? I doubt it; relegation from ECNL happened for a reason. Speaking on the girl's side of things, I have no idea about the boys. BRAVE had new teams forming, with new philosophy being taught, of course, takes time. But you could not see that, of course.

Well I didn't say win every time. No team wins every time but win more often. I guess we will see how that plays out .
