One content creator is saying Manatt withdrew her subpoena (Astrology with Janessa). She had a lawyer who met with Lively's counsel.

So, yikes, if true, I think they didn't actually have reasons to subpoena these people that would hold up before the court.

(This is based on a YouTube video from the creator, there is nothing in writing confirming).

Also, that woman is just a lowly receptionist being rudely grilled by some guy about stuff she could not possibly know, having it recorded, and then posted to YouTube where she is described as a liar and made fun of. That's not okay. To me, that is as bad as subpoenaing some tiny Tik Toker with 20 followers.

I feel bad for her too, for having a terrible boss who didn't prepare her staff for inevitable and reasonable questions.

Nope. I've worked in a law firm as staff. He was demanding answers to questions that she legally cannot answer. And recording it and spreading it on YouTube. That has nothing to do with he firm failing to "prepare" her for some celeb gossip YouTube personality to use her as a punching bag and then share it all over the internet. He was being an a$$hole.

The whole thing was a stunt and he used someone who makes an hourly wage doing an honest days work to get views online. That's gross. It's like a morning drive talk show calling a school teacher to humiliate her on the radio for kicks. It's punching down.

lol, the Lively bot has lost the plot.

I'm not a "Lively bot." I think people who are defending people like Popcorn Planet, Perez Hilton, and Candace Owens have lost the plot. These people are gross. It's one thing when they are going after Lively, who is wealthy and powerful. This secretary is neither. If you can't see what is wrong with that, I don't know what to tell you. Candace has a theory about Jews and lasers to sell you on, I guess.

Not a bot, but let’s summarize the various professions you’ve claimed: attorney, office staff, intimacy coordinator, fact checker, was there a screen writing claim as well? I’ve lost track.

I'm a different Lively supporter than the PP you're talking to, and you should probably just shut up. Your comments here are completely idiotic tbh. For some reason you can't seem to understand that you're talking to different people at different times, even though people here tell you this over and over and over and over, and you just refuse to believe them.

I agree the Hudson letter was misleading, fwiw. I think it was a misstep. Good thing Freedman has already made dozens of those so far, I think Lively gets a couple.

Wait, did Gottlieb fake-punch anybody yet? Did all Lively's claims get dismissed? No??? Okay, I'm good.

Because I am not responding to different people no matter how hard you pretend. Your writing style is quite easy to identify.

Well I'm am the person who is posting about Popcorn Planet and the secretary, but not the person you are replying to.

You are the one pretending, be abuse it's easier for you to just claim everyone who disagrees with you is one person than to actually engage with an argument.

Also, FWIW, I am one of the attorneys on the thread but I have also worked as staff at a law firm. That's not that uncommon -- many people work as paralegals before law school.

You’re an active practicing licensed attorney? And you’re wasting your time writing screeds on here during work hours and weekends? You must be super successful.

Uh, it's Saturday morning weirdo. I skipped the gym because I hurt myself earlier this week. I have time for a few posts.

I suspect you spend a lot more time on this thread than I do. What do you do for a living?

Suspect Jeff just letting this thread run now but at one point someone said he was getting pinged to shut it down when posts started to go off BL and JB case focus.

Well I only post about the case here, though when I post anything not pro-JB, I get accused of being a bot, being the same person as anyone else who is not pro-JB, or being paid. Or my identity or bona fides are demanded (by anonymous strangers). All of that seems off topic, but when it happens I generally just get bored and leave the thread for a while rather than complain to Jeff.

Everyone is a victim in Blake world, including the secretary that doesn’t think to say, sorry, I can’t answer that question.

So Popcorn Planet is a victim but the secretary just doing her job is not?

Hmm, ok. I hope someone calls you up at work and yells at you about something you have zero control over and records it and puts it on YouTube.

I refuse to believe a no talent nepo baby like Blake Lively has organic “supporters” who spam a DC mommy board day in, day out.

I don’t follow this case anymore because she and hubby were quickly busted as creepy bullies and hoaxers. The general public has already made up their minds about her and her husband, so just flushing millions down the drain carrying on this hoax.

And you all are wasting your time “arguing” about inside baseball courtroom crap.

+ 1 Maybe in the early stages of this thread, there were a few of BL supporters, but it’s become painfully obvious that it’s come down to one poster charading as multiple posters. After one post, they will post a few in droves in order to validate their previous claim. I got to give them credit for their tenacity

You constantly create straw men to distract, it's already been pointed out the subpoena being discussed is not the one Perez ( or Candace) got and that Popcorn guy is the only google subpoena creator who is named by TAG. You just ignore that they are requesting financial data and other invasive information about small creators, mostly female, and with no articulated reason after implying they were on the list and that poor Lively was being attacked and mean Wayfarer was hiding the list. And this was all 100% self own by Lively, she could have just not filed that motion and waited to respond to the MTQ.

And yes I do think Perez and Candace are grifters but no one is defending them.
