What’s wrong with wanting to Make America Great Again? The prior regime was the worst in my lifetime.

There's more to life than being a work from home disability claim processing machine.
Yea, like kicking all the black and brown people out of the workplace and the country?
They’re being kicked out because they aren’t legally present in the country. As for the workplace, the high termination rate at the Board disproportionately affects Black and Brown employees the most.

It will not lease additional space in the DC area as it is explicitly contrary to the Trump administration’s plans to move feds out of DC. The moves away from DC have congressional support.
To those that didn’t believe remote work and telework would be cancelled, believe this.

This could also be a problem. The Board previously had work at home employees report to the Washington DC Regional Office, and the Regional Office did not have enough desk space for all of them. This occurred in 2017 or 2018. The policy was then reversed and the work at home employees returned to 425 I St.
I remember that fiasco. Personally, I think management should cut headcount at the Board by 25% and increase the quota to 200 signed decisions per year to be fully successful. In exchange for a leaner and more productive Board, VA should allow exempt the Board from RTO.
