No she doesn’t put that much thought or effort into her coaching. The freshman start just because they are better than the upperclassmen. They are not coached by her one bit.

Exactly. Non athletes are not getting into those schools from Stone Ridge. They get in from NCS, Holton, Potomac. Nice try!

Agree about emptying the bench but disagree about continuing to score -- particularly if the bench has been emptied. As a former goalie, coach and goalie dad who has been on the wrong side of the ledger plenty of times, overtly not scoring is more disrespectful. Have the girls pass a certain number of times or use only opposite hands or whatever, but don't stop trying. And, definitely, the girls who come off the bench for the first time (or the first time in a long time) ought to have a chance to put one in the net.

So if your coach hasn’t zeroed in on your kid freshman year or the class or two ahead of your kid is full of starters - especially in their position - go to another school. The coach doesn’t want your kid and if they say they so they’re lying and just want their bench full or want to avoid the bad appearance of players leaving the program.
