Yep. AI is part of the problem but Trump’s chaos is part of it too. Firms are holding off on hiring.

Young people can pivot. If this is the beginning of a trend, we’ll see young people make different career choices.

And guesss what happens when a mass of them pivot to the jobs you’ve listed? Those wages will go down if there is a glut of supply.

This and Microsoft layoffs are due to AI, which both parties are not going to reign in. Half of the population is going to be unemployed in 10-20 years and we’re going to all die from rogue AI after that.
