Who is coaching the Maryland United Bethesda teams? Is it the same club director from MCE?

MC Elite now Maryland United Bethesda has had two 2029 teams for a long time (at least 50 girls).The second team is ranked 327 out of 356. Rankings aren't the only indicator but is it worth the $?

That list is old (doesn't include the 24s who played as freshman last year) and is a mix of Blue and Orange players.

My list was A teams only but if you include B teams, M&D Red and Hero's White have players at many of the schools you cite, including Liberty, Xavier, Longwood, Campbell, Manhattan, ECU as well as Mount Olive, Presbyterian, Duquesne, Lynn, Salisbury, Alabama Hunstville, Rhode Island, Robert Morris, Saint Francis, Queens, Radford, Mt. St. Mary's, LIU, Akron, and York. Lots of great places where girls can play.

They don't list the names of the players, but it is probably a more reliable source. UMD is by far a superior academic and lax institution than Manhattan, Xavier, Campbell, Rider, Kent State, Charlotte, Drew, Youngstown, Susquehanna, Rhodes, Liberty, ECU, etc.
The point is - the Capital name doesn't send you to IVY or high D1. That is 100% up to the player and basically could be on any team.

You misspelled UNC, BC, Northwestern, Princeton, Yale, Penn, and Virginia.

All of these teams have Capital players on their rosters (Stanford too this fall).

A PP claimed great lax talent doesn’t flow to high academics because of the barriers of entry (eg high grades / scores and money). This obviously isn’t true, as the schools noted above are all ranked higher (both in lax and academic standing) than UMD, comprised mostly of MD’s top club talent.

Can’t think of any Cap Blue players at the programs you cite, except one at ECU - which has a M&D Black player too. Great school / program with huge spirit. I know there are Hero’s Green and M&D Black players at Manhattan and Xavier. As well as Campbell, Rider, Kent State, Charlotte (and Stetson).

I think he/she means not that they would absolutely get in, but that they would have the credentials to do so.

Of course, that goes to the definition of contender. Only a small minority would be contenders.

Seems like Cap’s niche? Their recruiting success is dependent upon their upper upper class status (which, beyond ability to pay $60k tuition annually, is closely tied to academic credentials that can suffice). So many players don’t even have these schools on their lists. It’s totally niche. Now once they get there, if the school is top 10 division 1 NCAA, then they’ve clearly performed. But so much bragging about recruiting success that rules out, what, 90% of lax players (grades/$$).
