Not the prior poster, but interested in the answer. Our son is applying for te 4th grade.
In the STA Lower School the competitive, interscholastic sports begin in Form A (6th grade). Forms C and B (4th and 5th grades respectively) do not have teams competing with other schools. Athletic talents would be more important in STA admissions for grades 7 and up than for lower grades.

I understand that STA's and NCS's admissions are completely separate. Does this mean that sibling preference is given only for same-sex siblings who are attending or have attended the school?

Not OP. I am a Beauvoir parent. I cannot speak to legacies or "connected families." But just going through the class lists, there do seem to be a high number of siblings who presumably will apply.
PP: what do you mean by "high" can you give an approximate number?
Just going through my head, I think the number of siblings could be as high as 18 if you count NCS.
But you don't count NCS as a "sibling preference" for STA, do you?

Yes, if your son has a lovely singing voice and enjoys singing - auditions for the National Cathedral Boys Choir will be in October, to be followed by a six-month series of rehearsal "tryouts" if selected.
