If you watch that (admittedly cheesy) documentary she just out out, you can see she does have wrinkles and visibly-aged skin. I was surprised. Her instagram pictures are obviously filtered to the max, and I guess you can only minorly see the wrinkles in some pap pics because does overall look good.
So the documentary was cheesy, yes, but content aside, it did make me a believer of her no Botox claim.
no one with an excellent full face lift is going to need botox
Didn't look like she's had a facelift to me. I believe her claims of not having tinkered with surgeries or procedures. As I said, the aging is visible, but she looks great because she takes great care of herself.

It's sad that after spending time in therapy and even making a movie about it, she is still pursuing unhealthy romantic relationships.
However, all this media coverage and internet gossio about her is so misogynistic (and I am
aware most of the chatter is coming from fellow women). I don't like her music, haven't seen her movies, but I marvel at how she gets absolutely trashed while the same level of vitriol isn't aimed at Ben, who is an addict, an alleged cheater, an alleged groper, and more.
But let's analyze the woman because she's allegedly rude.
Ben gets bashed as well . All the time in fact. I think he’s the Hwood poster child of the addict which is unfair because he isn’t the only one, and he is also the Internet mascot for the beleaguered/“trapped” family man.
Photographers love getting his reaction and seeing if he drinks at events. There’s a whole industry related to Ben Affleck pap photos . It started maybe with the original Jennifer Lopez relationship in 2002, and maybe that’s why he’s resentful toward her for elevating his tabloid status
The "miserable Ben Affleck" thing as taken as a meme, a joke. It's passed off as "Ben is only happy when he has Dunkin and/or is with Matt Damon." It's said that Ben is miserable at events because he's with Jennifer. These are lighthearted jokes, memes, people find them funny.
The coverage of Jennifer Lopez is not similarly lighthearted. She is a rude, a "b---h," stuck up, so high-maintenance no guy can put up with her (as 18:57 says), a flop, desperate, pathetic, delusional, and so on. Her coverage is not lighthearted memes. It's mockery. The recent coverage of her "orange drink" comment, her "running around wild in the Bronx" comments- those were talked about with scorn, doubt, mockery, casting her as a liar, questioning the authenticity of her claims, claiming she was stretching the truth to try to be "down." Not covered in a lighthearted manner like pictures of Ben Affleck carrying ten Dunkin cups, or smoking a cigarette and looking weary. Those are reacted to as being "relatable!"
The stories about her being rude or high maintenance and famously having a “Don’t look at me” rule go back decades and it’s from the little guys like stage hands, backup dancers, flight attendants , security , waitresses, fans, limo drivers, etc etc.
Her riders /dressing room
Demands for all white dressing rooms with scented candles and such are also famous as is her aversion to tipping or letting her love interests tip female waitresses
These things started within her own industry.
She had to rehabilitate herself with American Idol to undo the diva image , but J Lo being high maintenance and stuck up to workers is a reputation she has.
She also has a reputation for being very hard working and for being beautiful . I don’t necessarily see anything wrong with nice dressing rooms but she herself started on the bottom as a backup dancer and it’s strange she would adopt rude behavior to people , but then also say she’s just Jenny from the Block. No she isn’t. She can’t have it both ways
Remember when she was arrested with Diddy and had to go to jail? She was upset she didn't have cuticle cream. She's something else.
No, I didn't remember hearing of that, so I looked it up when I read your comment. All I saw was that it was an unconfirmed rumor.
You know what I thought of, though? I thought of how in her November 2023 lawsuit, Cassie Ventura alleged that Diddy made her carry his gun to intimidate her. She also alleged, among other things, that he abused her both sexually and physical. Last month, a video came out via CNN showing Diddy brutally physically attacking Cassie.
So your comment makes me think of all that, and how Diddy has been accused of abusing several other women (and men), and it makes me wonder if Jennifer Lopez was also abused, coerced, or intimidated by him. And it makes me think that if- IF- it's true that she whined for cuticle cream after three people were shot in a club in connection to her boyfriend Diddy- with one of the victims alleging that it's actually Diddy who shot her, and that the man who was imprisoned for it merely took the fall for Diddy-
Well, then I think wanting cuticle cream, if true, is a minor "crime" in comparison to all that. Hey, three people were shot, but can you believe the nerve of the woman who gossip rags say wanted nail cream? That's the REAL story!
there can be several real stories around the same event. this is an interesting story about jlo and her priorities.
Yes, there can be several real stories around the same event. But someone whining about cuticle cream in no way compares to three people being shot, including one in the face. It's trivial, inconsequential. Furthermore, it seems to be a falsehood- I'm the PP who posted the links- the cop who was there that night doesn't mention diva demands, and other sources I found mentioned it only as being alleged.
So then it calls into question- why is a woman being lambasted for perhaps nonexistent diva behavior, where the same level of heat isn't directed toward men who've committed actual crimes?
because she is by far the bigger star? there are a lot of awful crimes - a vast majority of them, really - we don't hear about at all, all while wasting 90 pages analyzing jlo's every move. it's what happens when you are a star.
Far bigger star than Ben Affleck and Sean Combs? All three are megastars.
The two DCUM threads on the recent accusations against Diddy- who's been accused of numerous accounts of "divadom," and physical assault, and verbal/emotional abuse, and sexual assault and even sex trafficking- are only HALF as long combined as this thread about... J. Lo's narcissism, rudeness, divadom, and terrible partner picker. And the Diddy accusations have lawsuits and video footage.

Many of us were never fans of Puff Diddy Daddy in the first place. His career and endless parading of sexual content and degradation of women for money has always been disgusting.
