Ah I forgot about that thank you for reminding me. Each team got a freebie it seems.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:There is no doubt that Yorktown should have won that game. Battlefield got a freebie when YT goalie dropped the ball. Score was 4-1 battlefield end of Q1. Battlefield can’t catch and throw and caused at least 5 turnover and YT profited off that. Great game from both teams but no doubt YT played their hearts out.
You could easily say the same when the Battlefield goalie cleared it into a Yorktown players stick with a wide open net. Sloppy lacrosse still stands.

That did not happen. Oakmont got boat raced by Riverside
Stratton Oakmont
Oakmont or Oakton - doesn’t matter. Riverside gave them the boot!

Sloppy play from both teams. Early season jitters still alive and breathing. Both squads fought hard till the end but that was some pretty ugly lacrosse. Glimpses of greatness from each team though. Still March...
With a little home cookin' anything is possible! Those refs missed about 10 slashes, 2 moving picks, and 3 wards on YT. I think the game is moving to fast for some of these old head refs but glad they'll still trying! Solid game for both teams but ugly to watch.
