Some D3s have commits and there are plenty of offers out. My kid has a handful and is probably about a month away from making her choice. I'm sure others are in the same boat.

When will the D3 commits be happening? What is that timeline for a 2026?

The "issue" is that the timing of the announcement came during a shutdown period in which there is not supposed to be any contact between coaches and recruits. I think the OP was just saying that it was just poor timing to announce it during a shutdown period not that anything inappropriate happened but someone went off the rails and projected that is what was being said.

the only person "off the rails" is the person who keeps bringing up the shutdown. The shutdown has nothing to do with making something "Instagram Official".
