I don't care if you hate Joe Biden or Democrats in general. In no sane world should this translate to support of Trump (or anyone like him). And don't even bother with the whataboutisms or "Hunter Biden did...something" crap.
Yup. And if you have to work through very strained reasoning like, "God works through flawed vessels" you can be doubly sure you're part of a cult. Maybe more than one.

How many Netflix or Hollywood writers are working on this script? Are we sure we are all not in a Black Mirror episode?
Seems highly plausible.
What I really think has happened is the culmination of many factors, but overall Americans don't see government working for them so they think it's superfluous. Which is why the election/re-election of someone like Donald Trump is possible. I fear we may find out that government is actually important and that the relative ease of life in America isn't something that should be taken for granted.

Truth is, in a lot of ways, government has been doing things so well that it's invisible to people. I've had a few conversations with libertarian friends where I ask them what they think about regulated drains, and they have no idea what I'm talking about. I explain about government regulated and maintained drainage ditches and tiles that help ensure that land is usable and doesn't flood or sit under water for too long. And they'll mumble about how maybe those laws are ok. Most people who proclaim a love of small government don't seem to have a clear idea of what government does.

The DOJ has a witness who can testify that "the boss" wanted the subpoenaed surveillance tapes destroyed.
How on earth can TFG wriggle out of this one?
Carlos De Oliveira transmitted the message from Trump to the employee who was asked to delete the tapes. If he does not flip and testify, he could go to jail and Trump would be safe because what the employee heard regarding Trump's wishes is hearsay.
No it’s not. FRE 801(d)(2)

I mean, what if two different jurisdictions are planning to arraign him on the same for different crimes?
Only the best! MAGA!
He doesn't actually have to be in court except if he chooses to testify.

And there it is. Destroying evidence after getting a subpoena for that evidence. No wiggling out of that one.
