Riverside better get ready. The Oakton Pain Train is on the tracks. In all seriousness, Riverside is about to learn the difference between 5/4A and 6A.
In all seriousness they have beaten plenty of 6A schools over the years.

The Independence growth and success has been being worked on for years and carefully curated by coaches who have dedicated countless hours on developing talent and a love for the game for over a decade.
Starting in the youth ranks these coaches brought together a group of families that have stuck through things in thick and thin and the results speak for themselves.
The main objective was for the boys to have fun and develop a passion. High school success and college recruiting was secondary but as a result these guys are really talented, being recruited and committed and these families will be life long friends as a result.
No other program in the area has taken this much time and dedication and it shows on the field. I think they'll be around for awhile and rest of area could learn a thing or two about multi year commitments to development. This is why Long Island/New England and Baltimore are "better"
Indy is PVI's B team. Same group of kids from DS and VLC. The better ones went to PVI
