Quit both-sidesing everything. Not one democrat voted for this crap bill.
I’m at a multi-millionaire Democrat majority enclave all weekend. They are all ecstatic. The rich on
both sides of the aisle do not care about the poor and middle peasant class. That is to say they literally do not care if the poor all drop dead. Congress is a charade. Trump is just a boogeyman front for what all of the moneyed class wanted.
Not one dem voted for this bill. Stop pretending both sides are the same.
Hilarious. You need to stick with Netflix and lay off the politics.
No, we're not. Any money we save with the SALT deduction will be negated in the higher cost of our healthcare - because much less money will be coming into the system through Medicaid and somebody has to pick up the slack - that's us.

What does that have to do with the allegedly partisan donor class on both sides of the aisle being jubilant this passed? Because congress is a charade. Some of you are in your 50s and 60s and haven’t caught onto this scam yet? They work in concert, blame boogeymen, and it’s always a win-win for the donor class and special interests. Politics is theater.
Nope. There is theater. But, there is cruelty. They are not the same thing.
Anonymous wrote:The reality on total Fed debt is that each party will continue to add debt until the collective bond market says stop, by raising interest to an uncomfortable level. I think if mortgage rates got to 10%, that would do it. People would demand change.
And the Federal Reserve had a hand in this by buying Treasury bonds for years past financial crisis, artificially pushing down rates, and giving a false sense that the ever expanding yearly deficits are ok. How long this can go on for is anyone’s guess.

Stupid take. Democrats fought this POS bill. Even if it benefits them individually, it’s horrible for our county.
I don’t know any rich dems, including myself, who are celebrating this bill. Not one. We are all sad. I didn’t need another tax cut.
As we've all said, you are more than welcome to give as much of your money as you'd like to taxes. A helpful PP even posted the address to which you mail a check. Go ahead. No one is stopping you.
Meanwhile, I'm waving my flag today. Happy 4th, everyone!
DP
That’s irrelevant when they are going to spend it all on artificially inflating crypto for Trump’s personal gain, Brown Shirts, and Alligator Auschwitz and just make fascist corporations rich. I’ve actually never been LESS willing to pay taxes than I am right now.

We are all fcked thanks to the POS Republicans.
Just pay more voluntarily. Nobody is stopping you, and you'll do what you think it right while others do what they think is right, e.g., paying less tax and deciding for themselves how to spend their money instead of the government deciding for them.
Is that the official Republican POV now given they are officially the party of deficits and debt?
Trump was responsible for 25% of the national debt alone at the end of his first Presidency. The Republicans, as consistently pointed out here, currently control the House, Senate, and Presidency. And they just voted to add trillions more. They are the party of debt and deficits.
So you don't deny that the Republicans concern over debt, the deficit, and fiscal conservatism is a complete lie? Thanks for validating.
