I don’t think he’s necessary senile— more like just plain old mentally disturbed. Considering who he named Sec of Defense, I’m going with mentally disturbed. Who knows, maybe Trump will nominate this guy from Virginia for the position if Hegseth ever goes. And we should have much more confidence in this cute little creature than we do in Hegseth.

He is both. It's been well documented.
Yes. It’s clear that Trump is cognitively impaired and aging fast. The dementia will bring him down faster than the aging though.
It’s coming.

Yes, this explains everything. It's very likely correct. Even if it's not correct, the "true" explanation is likely worse, or equally bad, at best.
The 3-4 months? I don't know. I've seen mental decline up close, and it is very uneven. It happens very quickly, then slows, then speeds up, then there are ups and downs. It's quite confusing. It must be upsetting his supporters and upending the White House. They can't hide this forever.
What about just stupid? In all seriousness, he chose most of these cabinet members the way a seven year old boy would choose his favorite action figures and comic book characters when asked who should rule the world. They’re all cartoons.

Interesting theory. The one thing I don't like is when people use comments Trump made for years as signs of his dementia - it undermines the credibility of the argument. Like here it talks about his sexual comments re: daughter as an example of loss of inhibitions caused by of frontal lobe deterioration. But those comments are from years ago.
He has defin itely gotten MUCH worse lately. Why give examples that don't work with the timeline?
Good point. But there is a lack of accuracy in much of today’s reporting. Still, the neurologists who have commented on Trump’s cognitive decline have focused more on his loss of verbal and physical abilities. And even non-neurologists can see that he’s very diminished compared to his first term.
