It seems like as soon as her biological kids were "grown" she really started to complain about her parenting duties. Then, not long after there was the divorce and that's when she really threw in the towel. I really wonder sometimes if she resents/regrets her decision to adopt or if she had the wrong motivations for doing it in the first place. Really hope I'm wrong.

And now the I just can’t mom who has decided her kids are no longer her responsibility because she’s tired of it all and publicly disses her kids on social media has a new Me course - about how overwhelming teens and tweens are and how high pressure school activities are (like prom and graduations 🙄) and why she’s going to tell you how to release your shame in parenting because it’s just tooooo much.

Sounds like she wants to justify her abandonment of normal parenting and what she’s (not) doing by convincing others that it’s ok to dump stuff you don’t feel like doing and let your kids take care of themselves in order convince herself.

The stomach is pulled down and taut without muscle definition or low body fat percentage. I don’t care if she got a tuck, but to act like she is a body built by vegetables is just lying to herself and perpetuating diet culture bullshit.

She’s birthed 3 babies (over 20 years ago), is pushing 50, and just “lost 30 pounds”. She should have excess skin above her belly button and skin/fat below. Also, gravity would have pulled the belly button down a bit and made it longer (horizontally - if that makes sense). There’s NO WAY her stomach is that flat naturally.

I think this is a big misstep by Jen. Her adoring “tribe” would have “Yessss Girl!”’ed her if she had posted the pics with a comment about self esteem and problem areas, and “putting herself first” - and honesty about surgically enhancing herself. Lying about it and pretending it’s the result of just eating “less garbage” is BS. I’m glad so many people are pushing back on her about this. (Also, remember how this was a big launching post for Rachel Hollis? She posted a bikini photo of herself and her natural belly on social media, and everyone instantly loved her. I mean, she suck NOW, but that was still cool.)
