Anonymous wrote:So the DA is about playing time and not actually fielding a competitive team? That’s what US soccer wants.

How is losing every week going to be a positive experience for them or any team they play? An 08 and an 09 on an 06 team is a joke. There was that little interest that you had two resort to 2 and 3 ears younger? Not an fcv parent just a realist. Stop being in denial.
It is a small roster and the 2006s on the roster are virtually guaranteed lots of playing time. What was the lie, exactly?

I don't believe any kid should stay where they are riding the bench. If a kid isn't seeing time, move them. I also don't believe in all this playing up nonsense going on in Reston. Two years of it, and Spirit VA remained one of the worst programs in the US. I can buy into this happened because they didn't have enough 06s. Roster agrees with that, but don't tell me they would do it on purpose. That would make all the coaches there suspect.
The 08 and 07 play ups that you are trolling CHOSE to leave FCV a while ago. Get over it.
Again, not FCV. This could have been a civil conversation, but when you thread monitors get nasty, you force everyone else to get nasty back.

What happened to not letting players play up?
I don't know. Did they lack players for that age group? They definitely took the beating a roster like that gives you.
You think 0-4 is a bad beating for a team that has several of underaged and undersized players? You must know very little about soccer at this level.
Hahahahahahah! Ok, sure, hahaha! Sure thing! It did wonders for last year's 06's to have their asses handed to them week in and week out. That's why they all came back this year to do it again.
These kids could have it worse. They could have had you for a parent. That’s the DD we should all feel sorry for.
Oh please! I'm not laughing at those poor kids with ignorant parents putting them in that situation. I'm laughing at you idiots extolling this as development and a good experience.
#BetterThanYesterday right? Except when it’s not your team. Clown.
Name calling too, huh? I like how you keep it classy
