I don’t think he’s necessary senile— more like just plain old mentally disturbed. Considering who he named Sec of Defense, I’m going with mentally disturbed. Who knows, maybe Trump will nominate this guy from Virginia for the position if Hegseth ever goes. And we should have much more confidence in this cute little creature than we do in Hegseth.

He is both. It's been well documented.

Yes. It’s clear that Trump is cognitively impaired and aging fast. The dementia will bring him down faster than the aging though.

“And what he didn‘t say is whether the president had a scan of his brain. He didn’t say he didn’t, he just included some data from the chest and abdominal scans. So it’s not plausible or really credible to believe that they just decided to do some preventative screening for a third time this year.”
Trump’s October visit to Walter Reed came six months after his annual physical exam. For days afterward, the White House refused to explain the reason for his second visit. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt claimed it was his “routine yearly checkup,” but clearly that wasn’t true. Meanwhile, anyone with eyes can see signs that the president has diminishing mental faculties. It appeared that he could barely stay awake throughout a lengthy Cabinet meeting Tuesday, and when he spoke, he was incoherent and confused.

To quote J.K.Rowling's fictional reporter Rita Skeeter in Harry Potter, "the Prophet exists to sell itself, you silly girl". It does not serve the public. It was always about eyeball grabbing, and balancing how to out-scoop their competitors while avoiding government censure.

I have very little respect for the media, with the exception of some Watergate and Pentagon Papers-level journalists and editors.

AP too.

Since he televises his cabinet meetings so everyone can hear all the praise from his flunkies, it’s difficult to not comment on his falling asleep. Turns out “sleepy Joe” was yet another projection.
