All that matters is what voters in Alabama will do.

Not really. Our response to the voters of Alabama matters too. If Roy Moore stays in and is elected, will the GOP seat him? Will the GOP let him Caucus? What happens if even Trump comes out against him?

The reactions of the voters of Alabama will decide if he becomes a Senator. But, our reactions to their decisions matter to the country. If he comes to DC and is ostracized in the Senate and companies and individuals boycott Alabama, that is a powerful statement. If he comes to DC and the GOP roles over and accepts him, because taxes, that is also a powerful statement.
