It is why they are not undefeated. It is also likely if Battlefield were in Region C or Region D they would not qualify for the state tournament as frequently as they do coming out of region B. Regardless, the program does not shy from Region C or D competition.
I honestly think Westfield has a good chance of knocking them out.
Assuming both teams are full strength, BF by at least 5.
Rumor has it that BF may not be at full strength tonight. Can anyone confirm?

It’s hard to beat a good team twice. Even harder to beat two good teams twice
Any honest look would show that Battlefield is a really strong team but also has the easiest road to the state championship of the top 3 teams (Madison, Battlefield and Robo) since they would only have to play Madison or Robo in the final. Its not Battlefield's fault- its just the way the brackets are set up. Unlike a team like Woodson (for example) that scheduled easy games to improve their record, Battlefield scheduled a difficult regular season schedule and still ended up with a great record. They will have to beat a really good team in the final regardless. Tired of this conversation.

Sorry this is a bad take. Record means nothing. District record means everything. Anything else you can throw out the door unless your are just trying to be battle tested. Once you get to district and regions that’s all that matters. Look at west Springfield. Did they not play almost exact schedule as Woodson? They played well in regions and avoided robo til finals to make state. It’s not rocket science here people
