That is what is special about these years. But to say/think that somehow NCRC is unique is magical thinking. There are a lot of growth and schools and kids at schools all over the place after preschool. There is definitely a vibe from the NCRC parents that this is a unique place which makes me wonder if they put their guard down.
Blaming parents and colleagues for the pedos actions. Brave poster!

I hope the 2 young boys in the photo are identified and helped, too.

LOL all but like 3 went to private from my DDs graduating class from NCRC. It's why you go to NCRC is to get into a good private.
Maybe, but I think some people pay for private preschool and kindergarten because they don’t like the public options but then they go onto public elementary
Most people at NCRC chose the school because it is a great school but also for its outplacement. That is true for a handful of schools in the DC area, and they are very competitive to get into because of this. It is true that most kids at NCRC are probably going to move onto a small group of private schools in the DC area. A handful of kids may go to public schools but it’s not going to be the majority, it’s just not why people go there.

When a preschooler needs help with toileting, are your male teachers allowed to help?
Anyone?

My daughter had both of these teachers at NCRC on a teaching team, and it was one of the best years of her education. She learned and grew as a person in incredible ways, and our family remains so grateful to them for that unbelievably wonderful year. She has since gone on to have more male teachers than female teachers in her following years at a different school, and they have all been fantastic.
The two men you mentioned are salt of the earth human beings who care so much about education and the community. We are so lucky to have them teaching our kids. How dare you call out these people you don’t know? It is harmful to them and harmful to male teachers more broadly, not to mention incredibly uninformed and sexist.
For the record—James Carroll did not do any hiring. Find a forum where you actually know something about the topic and participate there, but leave our wonderful NCRC teachers alone.
Wonderful post. Thanks. I’ve been one of the advocates here for men being needed in the field of early education.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:You used to be able to see the staff listing and photos on the NCRC website but it’s all hidden behind passwords since the website redesign last year. Interesting decision. Who else did JC hire while he was there. The “mindful movement” guy? The director of the summer program? Both men.
