I'm sure after this year STJ and several of the other new area GA teams will be relegated to GA Aspire and won't have a team at each age group. I feel bad for Kristin because she's awesome and the mess shouldn't fall on her.
GA gives you 2 years to show you belong. If TSJ has a similar year as last year they will be moved to Aspire.
Alexandria and McLean will have 2 years as well. Both seem to have a solid foundation (McLean more than Alexandria) and seem like they will be ok.

Alexandria has a solid foundation? They just got kicked out of GA 2-years ago, what did they do in 2 years that they weren’t previously able to accomplish?

Is there an actual GA bylaw that says relegation or promotion will happen?
It’s either relegation or kicked out entirely like Alexandria a couple years ago

Anonymous wrote:It’s an empty merger with no benefit for Tsj. Maybe the pick up one or two practice timeslots but otherwise worthless. They maybe doing only to benefit the boys program but with the expensive pay to play model, no value. Adam maling very bad decisions again.

They’ve been holding ID sessions for a while now but still haven’t been able to form a full team. At this point, it looks like they’re willing to take any kid who’s willing to pay to play.
Not sure if you're talking about boys or girls. I've seen their posts about tryouts and they seem to never have all the age groups on there and I highly doubt there are full teams. I feel like they are going to merge age groups again like they did this year. That pretty much resulted in nearly half of the teams quitting so no lesson learned there. But, if they don't have enough kids to fill a roster what else can they do but merge. They also don't have enough good coaches for the teams so again they'd have to merge. So I see it from both sides.
This is for the GA team. From what I’ve seen, they’re willing to take almost anybody—even players willing to play up a year—just to fill the roster. It’s clear they’re still struggling to finalize teams for the 2013 and 2011 age groups.

Yeah I'm confused too. There's no one practicing. I don't know who they're trying out against. I think all games are done after today.
We got an invite that it was the last chance to tryout. Are the older boys team done? or what? coach wont reply to emails, admins dont reply. If anyone know the older boys coaches, please ask them and post the answer here. Communication is horrible and the season has not even started.

The technical booster needed to squash Rev and humiliate their money
Yes obviously. Just don't know anything about their teams. I know when the merger was announced a few months ago with some DC club everyone was like they aren't good. Is Manassas a good merger?
