I certainly hope so. The Cabinet is here to graft, so it's in their interest to keep him demented and in power. If something happens that is so far out there that the public starts to talk about the 25th amendment... that's when their control will slip. It hasn't done so yet, because of their extraordinary efforts to normalize what he says.

I watch the late night comedians, and even they have trouble relating all the demented thing the President says. They can't cover it all in their monologues. It's crazy. Talk about flooding the zone...

Biden's 2024 debate was newsworthy for two reasons: because he had made so few unscripted media appearances during his term, and because it was such a significant decline from his performance in 2020. Trump makes so many unscripted media appearances that anything he says just gets eclipsed by the next ridiculous thing he says. Is anybody talking about "quiet, piggy" anymore after he admitted he didn't know why he got that MRI? Anybody not named Trump gets held to a much higher standard.

That's a massive problem. We shouldn't stop talking about it.

We will continue to talk about it until America elects another qualified person, who isn't unhinged, and can be trusted as mentally and physically fit to serve in the most powerful position in the world for four years.

As awful as Bideb was, Trump is worse. We all know this and no serious person will argue this point. We don't need media to explain to us what awful is. Let's act like adults.

The media has a responsibility, as the fourth estate, to hold power accountable on behalf of us all. It is failing. Badly.

Trump has filed more than 4000 lawsuits in his career. That is his modus operandi. And every one of those lawsuits requires others to lawyer up and pay for all the litigation. The news industry is pretty broke these days. No doubt Trump's proven threat of filing expensive lawsuits is affecting coverage. News organizations generally can't afford the Trump lawsuits.

This is reflective of a systemic failure in the American system. The billionaires always win, especially with the Roberts Court.
