The acrimony between and amongst coaches has been off the charts. Many of the coaches and players leaving are doing so for reasons unrelated to ML. The club admin abruptly leaving, to my knowledge, had nothing to do with ML. It’s been chaos, with and without ML. Maybe the new ED will get things fixed, but it’s probably too little, too late for those with HS aged kids that have had to deal with this s-show.
Acrimony and jealously between coaches in a club is the norm in this area. Once you understand that, a lot of things make much more sense.
I know it is the norm, but it is on another level with what I’ve seen and heard at GFR.
That is due to a few specific coaches that are still from the RP hiring days, honestly. GD is the biggest issue - he can not stand to have someone with a decade less experience than him telling him what to do but he's not a director and should respect those who are.
This is true. He regularly trashes the TD and ED.

The loudest complainers are all ML-aligned, don't fool yourself.

Fair but ML could have done more to help GFR instead of the weird attempted takeover after only being on the BoD for 6 months. Dude couldn’t even be bothered with reading the bylaws or getting the whole board on the same page to try to make changes and just tried to go rogue and start firing people like he was trump. It’s definitely not too late for this club overall but the real damage was absolutely because of ML not trying to work with people

So in a years time this guy dug up a bunch of alleged crimes being committed by RS, attempted to fire him without success, so then tried to sue GFR but failed and now is starting a competing club and people are actually going to go play for it? Ohhh NOVA soccer parents. You truly have no brains.
