BP at VDA is different than he was at FCV.

If VRSC is going to "steal" all the other top players from other clubs, what does that say about their current players?
Not to burst your bubble, but for VRSC to attract top players from other clubs, they'll have to be able to offer something they're not getting from their current club. Performing relatively well in top level brackets of a early/mid season tournament and being competitive (another way to say we're not as good) with great teams isn't it. People don't typically leave a situation that they're happy in

FCV had college placement chops and everyone knew it. If Revolution can replicate that then I think they can attract or keep enough top players to be relevant despite not being in the top league. Placing 2026s and 2027s will be important. We'll see if they can do it or if it was all BP.
I wouldn't go so far as to say it was all BP but he was responsible for the majority of the college placements. Best college placement options at the moment are either BP at VDA or NM at FVU.
Not all BP but his recommendation definitley helps the girls looking for D1.

BP is great, I think he can get you into YNT camps and get exposure. I just can’t believe the pull NM has, only because I have seen it with my own eyes so maybe I am bias lol. My dd literally went to an ID camp and mentioned that the coach at the camp had a convo with one of the other players. The Coach verbatim stated “Oh that’s your coach? Don’t worry I got NM in my back pocket.”
Player committed two weeks later lol.

Instead of incessantly bombing questions on a forum go to the facility tonight and see how much he trains with the different age group GA teams. It's all nice and co-located so you can make the crazy trek 15 feet from one field to the other.

The question wasn’t about BP impact on VDA. It was his impact on FCV which also had great commits. Does MP and CC have the same success without him? How good Revolution can be might start with that.

LOL, BP just got to VDA. Entire 2005/06 team had D1 commits to some of the top academic and soccer schools, UCLA and FSU included. BP has been present for all of two commits from this year, one being UVA, which is a shock because prior coaches had a falling out with UVA. That's a plus. BP is great for VDA, but don't think for a second he's even 5% of the reason for so many D1 commits.

+1 on the importance of commitments. Haven’t seen much from any of the Virginia clubs so far this year.

True for almost all clubs, though I will say I seen the most 'IDing' of any club we've been affiliated with from club/academy kids doing weekly clinics. I would never advise someone to try and get on travel that way; but if you're a u-little it's not a bad place to start seeing where your kid measures up.
We personally avoid any and all club affiliated camps/clinics. There are so many other supplemental options with better training and at better prices.

Most people would view winning games as a large part of competing
People who understand how this works know the scores of these U-little games don't matter. What matters is only how YOUR player is developing. There are as many examples of good player development on losing teams as there are of bad player development on winning teams.
