Twitter, and instant access to news and to people, famous and just regular people, all over the world, is a big part of our lives - whether you use Twitter yourself or not. I think smartphones and their ubiquitousness are a mixed blessing. Maybe we'll be able to go back to the world of 2007 after Twitter dies. Maybe that's a good thing.
