The instability of a mother who is constantly in and out of out-of-state treatment facilities and now a trial separation, where they will probably move back in together, pretend all is fine, and do it all over again when/if the mood strikes again.

A mother who is always high. Or sleeping. Or crying. Or complaining.

A clearly unsatisfied father. Unsatisfied parents in general.

Kids sense discord. Kids need routine and stability in their lives. Catelynn should have gotten her shit together before she introduced yet another child into their crazy world. Tyler should have fished or cut bait before he got Catelynn pregnant. Those poor kids.

You’ve exaggerated quite a bit:

- she isn’t constantly in and out of treatment. For a period of time, she was in and out of treatment - was it two times total?

- she wasn’t sleeping much this season. I also think she handled the impending separation - and wanting to get it started or to know if he thought it would be permanent faced it head on. If she had something to cry about all the time - being pregnant - this would be justified but she handled it well.

Yes, Tyler is frustrated and annoyed and angry but I don’t see him As being an u satisfied father at all.

I’m not saying they are perfect parents but nova is fed, engaged, clothed, clean, spoken to, interacted with, and loved.

Why is MTV continuing to give Amber and Caitlin a platform to speak publicly anymore? They are both so unwell and need to deal with their mental health in a safe and therapeutic enviroment. There are plenty of former cast mates that would be a better fit for the show if they want to keep 5 girls on the show.

It is clear Dakota has ptsd but it is made to look like Bristol sometimes pushes those trigger points. Like after the counselor suggested not discussing finances (can't remember for sure if just not in front of the kids or not) but as soon as Bristol started to discuss them Dakota immediately got annoyed. I would have stopped at that point and readdressed it another time or move onto another lighter subject to let him cool off then try bringing it back up.

I also do not understand why the porch is delaying Tyler moving into the new house.

I've never seen Tyler behave so bitterly. I can't see how he'll be able to turn it around (his attitude towards Caitlyn) during their separation. He is so done. Otherwise, why wouldn't he just take a long vacation? I either can't remember from when it was first discussed or can't tell - who is keeping Nova full time when separated?

My opinions is that in no way should it have to be Tyler, he's done the full time solo parenting thing already a few times, but on the other hand, I don't think Catelynn can do it. She can't think about anyone but herself.

Sadly I somewhat agree with you. Tyler in the past few years has been really vocally about Cate and her needing to change. Last night watching him kind of lashing out at her for expressing how she feels about the separation and would like to get a move on it (so to speak) was not nice at all when he was just telling his mother if Cate has something to say then she should speak up about it. In that moment I felt so bad for her. No wonder she tends not to tell him things that bother her.
