McLean is gearing up for their fifth quarter comeback as we speak

You do realize the game was super close the entire game correct?

??? I think the comment was because the person seemed to be asking for a score update and the game happened a week ago and had already be discussed at length.

Yeah, I think Christchurch wins this one but should be a decent game.

Not many good games tonight. Only two that could be close:

Lake Braddock @ West Potomac
Oakton @ Chantilly

MaxPreps has it. Here are the big ones.

Cedar Run is up for grabs. Battlefield and Freedom likely fighting for #1 and #2. Patriot needs to beat Battlefield for a chance to get in the mix.

Patriot - Robinson should have #1 locked up. West Potomac, Lake Braddock, South County and Woodson all have a shot at #2.

Liberty - Langley should have #1 locked up. Yorktown/McLean winner will be #2.

Concorde - Madison should have #1 locked up unless Oakton beats them. Chantilly, Westfield, and South Lakes fighting for #2.

6pm South County vs. Oakton (Pick 'em)

Lines inserted above. Some decent games but why in the world is Robinson playing Stone Bridge? Should have given them Patriot at least and Stone Bridge to South Lakes.

Agreed. Robinson needs a better opponent. They play Cosby next week at SoCo

Some great games this weekend and next out at South County HS. Top ranked teams from all four 6A Regions playing. Would love to watch several of these games, especially Cosby to see how they compete this year, after making the 6A Finals last year.

Hats off to South County HS for putting this together and getting top-notch programs to commit.

final

3-3 towards end of 1st

11-6 at half

First team to score over 6 goals on Robinson.

Curran had his starters in until the last second, including yelling to have his starting attackman take a shot with 3 seconds left

#7 for Woodson is a beast and dominated every match up against all of the rams D. He was the toughest guy out there tonight. Looks like Robo’s low GA stat went up but so did their GF stat. Sloppy game but the rams made a statement IMO. Dominate the scoreboard. Poor defense on both sides and then the soft calls on both squads made this game ugly. At least more entertaining than watching a score of 1-0.

The glazing is crazy. Cam is a good player for a terrible program. In past years he’s scored 1-2 goals at best for the rams. He’s a lower d1/high d3 player. I think CNU would be a perfect fit for him. Future MCLA player?

You have got to be kidding. The kid is averaging something like 7 goals a game this season when defenses know he's the best scoring option on the team. Woodson was missing #3 last night so the onus was on Marks to be more of the offense if that is even possible. The result 8 goals against possibly the strongest team in the state. He is so much better this year than last year it is insane. I'll be amazed if he's not the OPOY. Only two teams have held him under 5 goals this year. And most coaches will tell you that he is also one of the best D-Mids in the area.
