I admire her excellent poker face
Imagine the team meetings the Clerk's been having before the start and during breaks.
At least there were fewer outbursts today.
I wondered if Polosi or her team member was coaching Madam Clerk.

He's a prime example of the extreme primaries. He took Gilcrest's seat. Gilcrest was a moderate R who was very protective of the chesapeake bay. Harris is a MAGA power seaker without the pizazz of Gaetz.

But. Now that he’s diluted the speakership he so desperately wants, it’s not clear that this congress will ever be able to move on. I’m not understanding how this will work in practice, if a single member can move to oust the speaker and he’s promised not to bring much in the way of appropriations bills. Isn’t that the primary function of the House? What am I missing here??

hasn't that already all been promised away?
At the rate that McCarthy is giving up everything he can in exchange for votes, Boebert will probably end up chairing the rules committee
I heard McCarthy promised to vote for Gaetz.
