I'm surprised his attorneys approved this. Or maybe it's a preemptive move if they anticipate a trial?
The trigger must have pulled itself somehow. And the gun got loaded itself. It's like the immaculate conception of shooting someone.

Wait, Alec is wearing the same outfit as in the Stephanopolous interview. So Hilaria is getting her hair done to accompany Alec to the interview, and taking/posting selfies on the way? That is beyond the pale.

He may not have "needed" to use the gun, but it seems like a normal thing to do in rehearsal.
If the scene did not call for him to pull the trigger, as the suit alleges, his argument that he was doing as instructed is really undermined.
Agreed. I was defending him against negligence charges because it seemed he was acting within the scope of his duties and expected practice for that work environment but this is really problematic for him. He really seems like he has been on his last string for a while now, with the combo of age, his wife’s mental health problems and public embarrassment, and the endless stream of young children. Most guys that age don’t sleep well to start with. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s been running on empty. (And hopefully not back on the coke. He has a reputation for that in the 80s). I do wonder if everyone was drug/alcohol tested after the shooting. I haven’t seen any reference to that.
Especially with 6 kids and 6 nannies!
He posted a video to instagram earlier that week, and he was rambling and puffy. And he is house hunting in Vermont for cheaper houses. I think he knows he is screwed.
How is he screwed? Whatever goes down it will merely be insurance payouts.
Alec and his wife are worth a lot. They won't be able to touch their personal wealth because this is how the system works.
He is screwed because he is probably untouchable in Hollywood right now and his lifestyle is extremely expensive. Alec works because he needs to work. He has said as much in interviews before. Suddenly he doesn't have income coming in, and probably won't for the near future. My guess has always been that they live close to the edge financially and this is tipping them over.
