She had a pretty successful podcast that she leveraged to launch this new thing. Her career and mental health seem fine.
She’s also richer than God thanks to settlements.
+1. Sorry, Megyn haters. Megyn actually seem to be doing pretty well for herself.
Yes, that's just what we all dream of for our daughters. For them to get rich off of settlements suing people.![]()

How can you call someone "race baiting" in one breath and then call them "white trash?"
The little I know about Kelly, I don't think she is racist. She seems to take on many issues.
I do think she called out Naomi for how she was behaving. Many others noticed as well.
Is this non-racist woman the same one who insisted Santa couldn’t be black?
Yup, the same. She also defended blackface.

Kelly said, "By the way, for all you kids watching at home, Santa just is white. But this person is just arguing that maybe we should also have a black Santa. But, you know, Santa is what he is. And just so you know, we're just debating this because someone wrote about it, kids. OK, wanted to get that straight...Jesus was a white man too."
It doesn't bother me at all. Nor people dressing as Indians or whatever for Halloween. Back to the thread topic. kelly called her out which was ok IMO. I didn't think it was harsh at all, but it is the media once again blowing it out of proportion.
The thread topic is why Megyn Kelly is awful. Insisting that Santa is black is a slap in the face to every person of color and shows what a narrowminded bigot she is.

When the going got rough she fled Fox instead of standing up to them.
Naomi is standing up fir her rights something Megyn could not do.
She twirled to keep her job and then cut and run.
What? Her contract w/ Fox was over, and NBC offered her an insane comp package. Then NBC fired her for saying blackface used to be acceptable.
No. She wrote to the executives and they didn’t GAF what she had to say so she quit. She should have stayed and fought for the rights of women at FOX but she wimped out.
Sorry but no. No woman should feel obligated to work for an employer who has sexually harassed her.
If every woman who is sexually harassed leaves no women would be in the work place. Stay and fight it, report it, lawyer up… or be like weak pathetic Megyn and run and hide.
That’s an incredibly misogynistic point of view. It’s not the job of sexually harassed women to fix sexual harassment in the workplace.
And it’s not Naomi’s job to fix the media and their sh*tty treatment of athletes. Naomi says the media caused her mental health to decline. No one should be screaming at her to suck it up if we cannot demand the same from Megyn.
Of course Naomi doesn’t have to be interviewed. She doesn’t even have to play tennis. But if she wants to play tennis in a tournament that requires all players to be interviewed, then she shouldn’t receive any exceptions. She is not a special snowflake who deserves an obvious advantage over other players.
Try telling your employer that you no longer want to do certain duties of your job because they don’t contribute to your psychological well being. Then report back how the conversation goes.
Naomi didn’t get interviewed and she paid a large fine that the tournament thought was fair. Nobody gave her a free pass. Just like if I don’t feel like working one day, my boss could dock my pay. That’s life. But she’s not a slave and has the right to refuse to be interviewed and pay the price.
Right. So she can either keep paying the escalating penalties or drop out again. Her choice. But she is not above criticism, and I’m not buying the victim narrative.
Then neither is Megyn. She twirled for her job and she should’ve stayed to help make a change. She isn’t a victim.
Megyn is not posing as a victim. No one is arguing that Megyn is above (or should be immune from) criticism. No one is whining that people need to stop bullying Megyn.

This is wrong. Naomi doesn’t have a right to not be interviewed if she signed a contract that required her to be interviewed.
Of course she can. She can pay the $10,000 fine and not be interviewed. No big deal when you're that rich. She's not a slave chained to her master. She still has free will.
+1 Britney Spears had a whole concert tour lined up, and refused to perform a few years back and cancelled the whole thing. I didn't see racist trolls attacking her for not dancing on command and saying that she was faking being mentally ill. Why might that be?
Britney is literally under a conservatorship. Do you honestly not see the difference? I’m sure people will back off and stop criticizing Naomi if she wants to give up her rights and submit to a conservatorship.
What if I told you many people can have mental health issues that don’t arise to the level of being under a conservatorship? I mean Ananda Byrnes isn’t even under a conservatorship. [/quote
I never said otherwise. But the comparison to Britney doesn’t work.

OK Trumper we all see who you are.
Your analogy is wrong.

Meghan Kelly is worth $45 million. She doesn’t have to work to support him or anyone else. She is set for life.
